3.17 Investigating the refraction of light

-We found out that light slows down as it tries to go through dense material.

-because it slows down it bends since one side goes slower than the other
- also, some partial reflection is shown

Obj 3.15- Recall that the angle of Incidence equals the angle of reflection


- Light waves are transverse.
Light always travel in straight lines.

- Light can be diffracted, refracted and reflected.

We see things in two ways-
Either if they are a light source or if light reflects off them.


This diagram shows that:
Angle of incidence = Angle of reflection

Opaque materials do not let light through but transparent materials do let light through.
